Navajo Green Pork Chili

  • 3 lb pork shoulder, cubed to broth mixture. Peel skin from two thighs and one
  • 2 cups stewed tomatoes breast of chicken. Cube meat and add to broth
  • 1 cup tomato paste mixture. Simmer mixture and cook slowly 1 hour.
  • 3 cups water Add onions and green peppers. simmer 2-3 hours
  • 2 1/2 tsp salt longer. Stir occasionally. Add water as necessary.
  • 2 16oz cans whole green chilies About 5 minutes *before serving, add cheese and
  • 1/2 tsp oregano lime juice.
  • 1/3 cups flour
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups dry black beans 15 minutes. Serve.

    and brown in skillet. Coat other 1/2 pork and add to

    skillet to brown. Remove meat and place in Dutch

    BLACK BEAR CHILI mixture to boil, then simmer uncovered 30 minutes.

    Stir occasionally. Stir in beans and simmer covered

    2 tbs cumin

    2 tbs oregano
