- 2 lb beef, cut into chunks
- 5 large carrots, peeled and cubed
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 3 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 2 cup water

Place beef, carrots, potatoes, and onions into the slow cooker.

Season with paprika, salt, and pepper; toss to coat.

Add water to just cover the vegetables.

Cook on HIGH for 4 hours, or on LOW for 6–8 hours, until beef is tender and vegetables are soft.

Stir well — the vegetables and liquid form a natural gravy.

Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve in deep bowls.
