Ma’s Lentil-Ham Soup
A Coleman family recipe for Ma’s Lentil-Ham Soup.

- 1 lb dry lentils (about 2 1/3 cups)
- 1/4 t dried marjoram, crushed
- 1 1/2 c chopped carrot
- 1 c chopped onion
- 1 c chopped celery
- 1/4 c snipped parsley
- 1 meaty ham bone (about 1 1/2 pounds)
- 7 c water
Instructions

Place all ingredients in crock pot with ham bone on top.

Cover and cook on low heat setting for 9 to 11 hours.

Lift ham bone from soup.
- 4
Remove meat from bone; chop meat and return to soup.
