Halibut Soup

- 0.8 cup cold boiled
- 1 slice onion
- halibut
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 pint milk
- 11/2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.

Add onion and cook until softened and translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add potatoes and garlic and cook until potatoes softened slightly, about 10 minutes.

Combine the water, stock, daikon, the minced halibut, the whites of the green onion, and all wet ingredients from the soup section and simmer in a soup pot for 10 minutes.

Bring the soup to a low simmer and cook for about 25-30 minutes uncovered until the potatoes are fork tender.

Stir occasionally with a wooden spoon so nothing sticks to the bottom of the pot and burns.

Use forks to flake the seared halibut.
