Garlic Cheese Bread

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Asiago cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 2 clove garlic, finely minced or puréed

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice French bread loaf in half horizontally.

    In a bowl, mix softened butter, Jack cheese, Asiago, mayonnaise, green onions, and garlic until well blended.

    Spread the cheese mixture generously over the cut side of both bread halves.

    Place on a baking sheet and bake 7 minutes.

    Switch oven to broil and broil 3 minutes more until cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.

    Cut into slices and serve immediately.
