Mini Portobello Burgers

A Blackstone griddle recipe for Mini Portobello Burgers.

  • portobello mushroom caps
  • mozzarella cheese
  • 4 buns, like brioche
  • For the marinade:
  • 0.3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • sea salt
  • black pepper

Instructions

    Whisk together marinade ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add mushroom caps and toss to coat. Let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes, turning twice. Preheat griddle for medium-high heat. Place mushrooms on the griddle; reServings marinade for basting. Cook for 5 to 8 minutes on each side, or until tender. Brush with marinade frequently. Top with mozzarella cheese during the last 2 minutes of cooking. Remove from griddle and Servings on brioche buns.
