Louisiana Barbecued Shrimp
Whole shell-on shrimp broiled under a blizzard of black pepper, olive oil, butter, lemon, Worcestershire, and hot sauce — intensely seasoned through the shells.

- 2 lb medium shrimp, whole, shells on
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp coarsely ground black pepper
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp hot pepper sauce
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 4 tbsp butter, cut into pieces
Instructions

Arrange whole shrimp in a single layer in an ovenproof dish.

Drizzle olive oil over shrimp. Pepper shrimp generously — more than you think you need.

Add salt, lemon juice, pepper sauce, and Worcestershire; dot with butter.

Broil 15–20 minutes, turning once, until cooked through.
