Knockwurst in Beer with Sauerkraut

  • 6 knackwurst sausages
  • 3 cup sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
  • 1 apple, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup beer or white wine

Instructions

    Combine all ingredients in a large skillet or crockpot.

    If using skillet: cover tightly and simmer over low heat 15–20 minutes.

    If using crockpot: cook on LOW 6 hours.
