Pork Chops with Sour Cream Kraut

- 4 chops bone-in pork loin chops, 1-inch thick
- 0.3 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 small onion, sliced and separated into rings
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 14 oz canned sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
- 0.3 cup chicken broth
- 0.5 tsp caraway seeds
- 0.5 tsp paprika
- 3 0.5 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup sour cream

Season pork chops with salt and pepper.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown chops on both sides.

Add onion rings and garlic to the skillet.

Combine sauerkraut, broth, caraway seeds and paprika; spoon over the chops.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes until pork is cooked through (internal temp 160°F).

Remove pork chops and keep warm.

Sprinkle flour over the sauerkraut mixture in the skillet; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
