- 1 lb shoestring potatoes/shredded potatoes
- 0.5 tsp turmeric powder

- 22 - Heat oil in a frying pan and add the potatoes. Sprinkle turmeric powders, salt and pepper and allow to sizzle until crisp. Serve immediately. A Variation: To avoid deep frying, there is an alternative method.
