Deep Fried Mahi Mahi Macadamia

Crispy fried mahi mahi with macadamia nut crust.

  • 4 fillets Mahi mahi fillets
  • 1 cup Macadamia nuts, crushed
  • 0.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 each Egg
  • 0.3 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 cup Vegetable oil for frying
  • 2 tbsp Lime juice

Instructions

    Mix crushed macadamia nuts with flour, salt, and pepper.

    Whisk egg with milk.

    Dip fillets in egg mixture, then coat with macadamia mixture.

    Heat oil to 350 degrees F.

    Fry fillets 3-4 minutes per side until golden.

    Drain on paper towels.

    Serve with lime juice.
