Broiled Shrimp with Garlic Butter

- 6 tbsp softened sweet butter
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp minced shallots
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 0.5 lemon, juiced
- 0.3 tsp sea salt
- 24 large shrimp, in the shell
- 0.5 cup water

Preheat the broiler.

Place the softened butter in a small bowl and stir in the lemon juice, salt, garlic, shallots, and parsley.

Cut each shrimp in half lengthwise, leaving them attached at the tail. Spread the shrimp open.

Arrange the shrimp in a shallow, oval casserole dish.

Top the shrimp with generous dabs of the garlic butter mixture.

Pour the water into the dish.

Broil the shrimp until cooked through, about 4 minutes.

Arrange the shrimp on serving plates. Whisk the liquid in the casserole dish and pour over the shrimp. Serve immediately.
