Curried Salad

- 6 cups mixed garden vegetables (try celery slices, carrot strips, cauliflower green and red peppers, turnip strips)
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup salad oil
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
- 2 tsp. curry powder
- 6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled

Steam vegetables for 5 minutes.

Drain and cool.

Mix all ingredients well and pour over vegetables.

Let chill overnight in refrigerator.
