Creamy Cabbage Rolls

- 5 lb cabbage, cored and steamed or frozen and thawed
- 1 0.5 lb ground pork
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 0.5 cup cooked rice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 eggs
- 1 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp dried marjoram
- 2 tsp paprika, divided
- 6 slice bacon, chopped
- 1 can (13 oz) chicken broth
- 8 oz sour cream
- 1 tsp flour
- 1 dash cayenne

Separate steamed or thawed cabbage leaves; slice off tough ribs. Shred remaining cabbage.

Mix pork, onion, rice, garlic, eggs, salt, marjoram, and 1 tsp paprika until blended.

Place ~⅓ cup meat mixture on each leaf and roll up. Set aside.

Fry bacon until crisp; combine with half the shredded cabbage. Pour into a deep casserole.

Place cabbage rolls on top, then cover with remaining shredded cabbage. Pour broth over all.

Cover and bake at 375°F for 1 hour.

Drain juice into a saucepan. Whisk in sour cream, flour, and 2 tsp paprika. Heat to thicken without boiling. Pour over rolls and dust with cayenne.
