Navajo Fried Bread
Ingredients
- 4 cup flour
- 1 tbs baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbs powdered milk
- 1 0.5 cup warm water
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 large peeled and cubed potato all dry ingredients, thoroughly. Beat eggs, gradually
- 2 1/2 cups water adding milk. Add egg mixture alternately with honey
- 3 tbs yeast4 tbs pancake syrup at room temp to dry ingredients. Beat well. Stir in acorns and
- 1 tbs margarine, melted pour evenly into loaf pans. Bake in cardboard oven
- 6c whole wheat flour at 350 for 45 minutes or until golden. If bread is
- 2 tbs margarine, softened done, it will come out of pan easily when pan is

Grease two loaf pans with margarine. Mix together
