Killer Shrimp
The legendary Killer Shrimp — rosemary, thyme, fennel, red pepper, and garlic simmered in a rich broth of chicken stock, clam juice, butter, and white wine with plump shrimp. Serve with French bread for dipping.

- 2 tbsp dried rosemary
- 2 tsp dried thyme
- 0.5 tsp fennel seed
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 5 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp celery seed
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 qts low-sodium chicken broth
- 8 oz clam juice
- 3 oz tomato paste
- 0.5 cup butter
- 1 cup white wine
- 1 0.5 lb raw peeled shrimp, with tails
- 1 loaf French bread, for dipping
Instructions

Partially crush rosemary, thyme, and fennel seed with fingers or mortar and pestle.

Place all ingredients except wine and shrimp in a large pot. Simmer 30 minutes.

Add wine and simmer 10 more minutes.

Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 3–5 minutes. Serve immediately in bowls with French bread.
