Fresh Herb Salad
A delicate salad of fresh purslane, chervil, lovage, tarragon, viola flowers, basil, and chives dressed simply with extra-virgin olive oil.

- 0.3 cup fresh purslane, washed and patted dry
- 0.3 cup fresh chervil sprigs, washed and patted dry
- 0.3 cup lovage leaves, washed and patted dry
- 0.3 cup tarragon leaves, washed and patted dry
- 0.3 cup viola flowers, washed and patted dry
- 0.3 cup small basil leaves, washed and patted dry
- 0.3 cup snipped chives
- 1 drizzle extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 to taste salt
- 1 to taste freshly ground black pepper
Instructions

Combine all of the herbs in a mixing bowl.

Toss the herbs lightly in olive oil.

Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
