- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 0.3 lb butter
- 2 lb medium shrimp, shelled and deveined
- 0.5 cup beer

Combine cayenne, black pepper, salt, red pepper flakes, thyme, basil, and oregano in a small bowl.

Melt butter in a large skillet over high heat, then add the seasoning blend. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Add shrimp and cook 2 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly, until shrimp turn pink.

Add beer and simmer 1 minute more.

Serve over rice with French bread on the side to dip into the sauce.
