  • 0.3 cup butter
  • 4 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated
  • nutmeg

Instructions

    Cook choux-style dough.

    Pipe the dough into circles, overlapping the ends.

    Freeze the piped crullers until firm.

  4. 4

    Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Bake at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes.

    Change the temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 15 more minutes.

    Alternatively, fry the crullers from frozen in hot oil.

    Gently add each cruller into the hot oil and carefully spin it with a metal spoon.

    Cook until the cruller floats to the top of the oil's surface and is golden brown.

    Dip the crullers in maple glaze.
