  • 2 each whole slabs pork baby back ribs
  • 8 each parts light brown sugar, tightly packed
  • 3 each parts kosher salt
  • 1 each part chili powder
  • 0.2 each part ground black pepper
  • 0.2 each part cayenne pepper
  • 0.2 each part jalapeno seasoning
  • 0.2 each part Old Bay Seasoning
  • 0.2 each part rubbed thyme
  • 0.2 each part onion powder
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 each ) Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
  • 2 each ) In a bowl, combine all dry ingredients and mix well.
  • 3 each ) Place each slab of baby back ribs on a piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil, shiny side
  • 4 each ) Sprinkle each side generously with the dry rub. Pat the dry rub into the meat.
  • 5 each ) Refrigerate the ribs for a minimum of 1 hour.
  • 6 each ) In a microwavable container, combine all ingredients for the braising liquid. Cook for

  • 8 each ) Open one end of the foil on each slab and pour half of the braising liquid into each foil
  • 9 each ) Tilt the baking sheet in order to equally distribute the braising liquid.
  • 10 each ) Braise the ribs in the oven for 2 1/2 hours.
  • 11 each ) Transfer the braising liquid into a medium saucepot.
  • 12 each ) Bring the liquid to a simmer and reduce by half or until of a thick syrup consistency.
  • 13 each ) Brush the glaze onto the ribs.
  • 14 each ) Place under the broiler just until the glaze caramelizes lightly.
  • 15 each ) Slice each slab into 2 rib bone portions.
  • 16 each ) Place the remaining hot glaze into a bowl and toss the rib portions in the glaze.
