Vidalia Onion and Sausage Casserole

  • 5 large Vidalia onions, sliced and lightly sautéed
  • 12 buttery crackers, crushed
  • 1 lb pork sausage meat, browned and drained
  • 0.3 tsp seasoning salt
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.5 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 small jar pimentos

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    Combine sautéed onions, browned sausage, seasoning salt, cream of mushroom soup, Cheddar cheese, and pimentos in a large casserole dish.

    Top with crushed crackers.

    Bake for 30 minutes until crackers are golden brown and casserole is bubbly.
