Turkey A'La Cahokia Roast Pheasant

  • 4 can turkey chunks Brinkman or similar smoker
  • 0.3 tsp pepper Charcoal pan 3/4 full
  • 2 tsp paprika Water pan full
  • 4 tbs margarine Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup cream Bay leaf
  • 2 can evaporated milk Lemon sliced thin
  • 4 small jar pimento, chopped save liquid 3-4 stalks celery with leaves
  • 4 tbs flour 3-4 parsley sprigs
  • 1 tsp salt Onion sliced into quarters

Instructions

    Melt margarine in large pot over medium heat. Season bird inside and out with salt and pepper.

    Blend in flour, add salt, pepper, and paprika. Add Stuff cavity with bay leaf, lemon slices, celery

    milk, cream, and liquid from pimentos, stirring leaves, parsley sprigs, and onion.

    constantly until thickened. Beat well. Add turkey Cook 5-6 hours.

    and pimentos. Cook 15 minutes. Serve over

    buttered skillet toast or drop biscuits.
