Tuna Casserole
Classic tuna casserole with macaroni, fresh mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup, and a buttery bread crumb topping.

- 24 oz canned tuna, drained (3 to 4 cans)
- 3 cup macaroni, dry (to yield 3-4 cups cooked)
- 1 whole small onion, chopped
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 can (10.75 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 0.5 cup sour cream
- 3 tbsp butter, melted, divided
- 0.3 cup fresh bread crumbs
- 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1 tsp salt, to taste
- 0.5 tsp pepper, to taste

Boil macaroni until tender, rinse in cold water, and drain.

Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet; add onion. When translucent, add mushrooms and cook until tender.

In a medium casserole dish, combine macaroni, onion and mushroom mixture, tuna, mushroom soup, sour cream, salt, and pepper.

Mix remaining 2 tablespoons melted butter with bread crumbs; sprinkle over casserole. Top with mozzarella.

Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes.
