Tomato and Basil Bruschetta

  • 1 each loaf of french bread, makes 24 pieces
  • 4 each garlic cloves
  • 0.3 cup basil
  • 2 each lbs. seeded tomatoes, diced
  • 6 each tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 each . Heat oven to 375°.
  • 2 each . Cut bread into 4 inch long pieces. Brush pieces of bread

Instructions

    with olive oil.

    Toast in oven for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. 3.

    After toasting, rub garlic on the toast.

    Mix remaining olive oil and tomatoes and basil in bowl.

    Add salt & pepper to taste.

    Top each piece of toast with about tsp. of mixture. 4.

    Place on dish and serve.
