Taco Filling

  • 4 each garlic cloves, minced, or 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3 each lb. ground beef
  • 2 each oz. chili powder
  • 2 each tsp. cumin
  • 0.5 each C. raw potato, grated
  • 2 each tsp. salt
  • 6 each C. water

Instructions

    Combine all ingredients and simmer for two hours.

    When the mixture is done, pour into a colander and drain well.

  3. 3

    Meat should not be greasy for tacos.

  4. 4

    Spoon meat into prepared taco shells.

  5. 5

    Top with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, grated cheese and taco sauce if desired.
