- 2 cup liquid honey
- 1 cup water
- 1 lemon, sliced

Combine honey, water and lemon in saucepan. Bring to boil. Lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Dip cookies in syrup, remove and place on wire racks. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts. Cool. Dr. Galne, a physician in 131 A.D., recommended that honey be used to stimulate the affairs of the heart.
