  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup soft breadcrumbs
  • 0.8 cup Burgundy wine
  • 1 can (4 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 2 tsp onion salt
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.3 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.3 tsp pepper
  • 8 hamburger buns

Instructions

    Mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, wine, mushrooms, onion salt, dry mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and pepper.

    Shape into 8 patties.

    Broil or grill 4–5 inches from heat, 5 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.

    Serve in buns with sliced tomatoes and onions.
