A heavenly cookies recipe for Sugar Cookies.

- 0.5 cup margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp cream of tarter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp lemon flavoring
- 0.5 cup milk
- 1 tsp baking soda dissolved in milk
- 3 0.5 cup all purpose flour sifted
Instructions

Sift dry ingredients together. Cream shortening and add sugar, egg and mix until light and fluffy. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to sugar mixture. Bake for 10 minutes in a 400-degree oven. Decorate with icing or by using sprinkles if desired.
