Stouffer's Corn Souffle

Copycat Stouffer's corn soufflé — a light, custardy baked dish made with cream-style corn, eggs, sour cream, and a hint of nutmeg. A classic Southern-style comfort side.

  • 2 count eggs
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.3 tsp black pepper
  • 1 dash ground nutmeg
  • 15 oz canned cream-style corn
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup milk

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C). Spray an 8-inch square baking dish with cooking spray.

    With an electric mixer, beat eggs until foamy.

    Beat in cornstarch, sugar, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Add cream-style corn, sour cream, and milk. Mix until just combined.

    Pour into prepared dish. Bake on the center rack 35 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
