Grilled Steak Salad with Herb Vinaigrette

- 1 lb beef tenderloin or sirloin
- 4 oz mixed field greens
- 8 spears asparagus, trimmed and cooked
- 0.5 cup Greek olives
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- 0.7 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp Italian herb spice blend
- 0.5 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest

Combine olive oil, garlic, minced onion, Italian herbs, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper in a jar. Shake well.

Season beef with salt and pepper. Grill until medium-rare, about 17 minutes total, turning once.

Slice beef on the diagonal into thin pieces.

Arrange mixed greens on plates. Top with asparagus, olives, and cherry tomatoes.
