Spirited Pork Chop Casserole
Tender pork chops braised in a sweet applesauce and cranberry sauce with dry vermouth.

- 6 whole large center cut pork chops
- 1 tbsp onion soup mix
- 1 tsp rosemary, to taste
- 1 lb applesauce (1 jar)
- 1 cup cranberries
- 0.3 cup dry vermouth
- 1 tsp salt, to taste
- 0.5 tsp pepper, to taste
Instructions

Mix salt, pepper, onion soup mix and rosemary, and rub on both sides of pork chops. Brown chops in a frying pan.

Put applesauce and cranberries in a casserole dish.

Add browned chops and any pan drippings to casserole. Add vermouth.

Cover and bake in a 325°F oven for 1½ hours. Serves 6.
