  • 0.5 tsp dried oregano, crumbled
  • 0.5 tsp dried thyme, curmbled
  • 0.3 tsp cayenne, or to taste
  • 0.5 tsp sugar
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.3 tsp freshly ground black peppe r
  • 2 catfish fillets (about 1 pound )
  • 1 large garlic clove, sliced thin
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butte r
