- 1 lb bulk pork sausage
- 0.5 cup warm water, 105° to 115°
- 1 package dry yeast
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.3 tsp salt
- 1 can tomato sauce, 8-ounce
- 0.5 tsp dried whole oregano
- 0.3 tsp garlic powder
- 1 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, 6 ounces
- 0.3 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1 ounce
- 0.3 cup grated Romano cheese, 1 ounce

Cook sausage until browned, stirring to crumble; drain well. Combine water and yeast; let stand 5 minutes. Stir in flour and salt (dough will be soft and sticky). Using the back of a spoon, spread dough on bottom and up sides of a greased 10 inch pizza pan. Bake at 425° for 5 minutes. Combine tomato sauce, oregano, and garlic powder; spread evenly over crust. Sprinkle with sausage, and bake an additional 15 minutes. Sprinkle with mozzarella, and bake 5 to 10 minutes longer or until crust is browned. Top with Parmesan and Romano cheese. Yield: one 10 inch pizza.
