Spanish Rice

  • 1 each lb. pork sausage - mild or hot (.99)
  • 1 each onion - chopped (.25)
  • 1 each green pepper - chopped (.25)
  • 1 each 16 oz. can of diced tomatoes (.33)
  • 1 cup of water (free)
  • 0.8 cup of rice (.30)

Instructions

    Brown sausage, onion, and green pepper in skillet over medium heat.

    When sausage is browned and vegetables are tender add tomatoes, rice, and water.

    Simmer covered, over low heat, stirring occasionally.

  4. 4

    Cook about 20 minutes or until rice is done.

  5. 5

    Serve with bread.
