Sourdough Biscuits

A homemade bread recipe for Sourdough Biscuits.

  • 1 cup sourdough starter
  • 1 ts salt
  • 0.5 ts soda
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 ts baking powder
  • 4 tbsp shortening, melted

Instructions

    Mix ingredients. Roll or pat dough 3/4 to 1 inch thick. Cut 2 inch biscuits or drop on greased pan. Let stand 20 minutes before baking. Bake 20 − 25 minutes at 425 degrees F.
