  • 1 0.5 cup sugar
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.3 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 0.3 cup shortening
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 2 0.3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.3 tsp salt
  • 1 package milk chocolate chips (2 cups), 11 1/2 ounce

    Heat oven to 350º. Beat sugar, sour cream, butter, shortening, vanilla and egg in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with spoon. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until set and just beginning to brown.
