Smoked Chicken Thighs

- 2 lb bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp BBQ sweet rub
- 0.5 cup Whiskey Peach BBQ sauce (or favorite BBQ sauce)

Preheat smoker to 275°F.

Trim excess skin from chicken thighs and roll each piece into a uniform shape.

Season all sides with the sweet rub until completely covered.

Place chicken on smoker skin side up. Cook with lid closed until internal temp reaches 165°F, about 45 min to 1 hr 15 min.

Baste with BBQ sauce and continue cooking until internal temp reaches 170-175°F.

Remove from grill, rest 5-10 minutes, and serve.
