Slow Cooker Pork Chops with Mushroom Sauce

- 8 small pork chops thick small pork chops (about 2.5 lb total)
- 2 tsp salt
- 0.3 tsp black pepper
- 1/8 tsp dried sage
- 10 0.8 oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1 tbsp dried onion flakes

Trim the excess fat from the pork chops and use it to grease a large skillet. Over high heat, brown each chop lightly on both sides.

Season each chop with salt and pepper as it finishes browning. Transfer all browned chops to the slow cooker.

Add the sage to the slow cooker.

In the still-hot skillet, add the undiluted cream of mushroom soup and dried onion flakes. Scrape up the pan juices and stir to combine. Pour this sauce over the chops in the slow cooker.

Cover and cook on LOW for 8–10 hours, until the pork chops are very tender and falling off the bone.

Serve the pork chops with the rich mushroom sauce spooned over the top. Great with mashed potatoes.
