Slow Cooker Ground Beef Stew

  • 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 15 oz canned peas, drained
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 can condensed tomato soup (10.75 oz)
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

    Layer ingredients in slow cooker in the following order: potatoes, carrots, onion, peas, then crumbled raw ground beef. Season with salt.

    Spread tomato soup evenly over the top of all layers. Do not stir.

    Pour water around the edge of the pot.

  4. 4

    Cover and cook on LOW for 7 hours — do not lift lid while cooking.

  5. 5

    Stir just before serving to blend layers and sauce.
