Slow Cooker Deviled Beef

- 2 lb lean beef, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 packet envelope sloppy joe seasoning mix
- 6 oz tomato paste
- 1 cup celery, coarsely sliced
- 1 count green bell pepper, cut in squares
- 0.5 cup water
- 2 tbsp white vinegar

Place all ingredients in the slow cooker. Stir to mix well.

Cover and cook on LOW for about 10 hours, or HIGH for 4½ to 5 hours. Resist the urge to peek or stir until near the end of cooking.

Serve the beef over hot cooked noodles or rice.

Note: This can also be baked in a covered 2-quart casserole at 325 degrees F for 2 to 2½ hours.
