Slow Cooker BBQ Brisket

- 5 lb fresh beef brisket
- 2 tsp meat tenderizer
- 0.5 tsp celery salt
- 0.5 tsp seasoned salt
- 0.5 tsp garlic salt
- 0.3 cup liquid smoke
- 0.3 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 0.5 cup your favorite BBQ sauce

Place brisket on a large piece of heavy-duty foil. Sprinkle meat tenderizer, celery salt, seasoned salt, and garlic salt on both sides.

Pour liquid smoke and Worcestershire sauce over the top. Wrap tightly in foil.

Marinate in refrigerator 6–10 hours or overnight.

Place foil-wrapped brisket in slow cooker (cut in half if needed to fit). Cover and cook on LOW for 8–10 hours.

Remove brisket; chill completely. Slice across the grain into thin slices.

Before serving, reheat sliced brisket in BBQ sauce in a skillet or slow cooker until heated through.
