Slow Cook Jambalaya

  • 1 each Bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 each Onion, chopped
  • 2 each tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup Chopped celery
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 tbsp Minced parsley
  • 2 tsp Chopped thyme leaves
  • 2 tsp Oregano leaves, chopped
  • 1/8 tsp Cayenne
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 4 oz Smoked sausage, chopped
  • 8 oz Chicken breast, chopped
  • 2 cup Beef broth or bouillon
  • 0.5 lb Cooked shelled shrimp
  • 1 cup Cooked rice

Instructions

    Shell shrimp, halve lengthwise.

    In slow cooker,combine all ingred. except shrimp & rice.

    Cover & cook on low 9-10 hours.

  4. 4

    Turn slow cooker on high, add cooked shrimp & cooked rice.

  5. 5

    Cover; cook on high 20-30 minutes.
