Shrimp Linguine Alfredo

  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 0.3 cup butter, melted
  • 4 tbsp diced onion
  • 4 tsp minced garlic
  • 40 small shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 6 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 sprig fresh parsley
  • 4 slice lemon, for garnish

Instructions

    Cook pasta in boiling water until al dente; drain.

    Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until tender.

    Add shrimp and sauté over high heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

    Stir in half-and-half. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.

    Place pasta in a serving dish and pour shrimp sauce over. Sprinkle with black pepper and Parmesan.
