Fancy Shrimp and Egg Crescent Bake

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled, deveined, and cooked
  • 6 count large eggs
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 0.3 cup onion, diced
  • 0.3 cup green bell pepper, diced
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.3 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll crescent dough and press into the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, pressing seams together.

    Bake crust for 5 minutes; remove from oven.

    In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté onion and bell pepper until softened, about 3 minutes.

    Whisk together eggs and heavy cream. Season with salt, white pepper, and dill.

    Arrange cooked shrimp over the pre-baked crust. Scatter sautéed vegetables over shrimp.

    Pour egg mixture over the top. Sprinkle Swiss cheese evenly over all.

    Bake for 20–25 minutes until eggs are set and top is lightly golden. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
