  • 1 lb. ground chicken
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 potato buns, toasted

Instructions

    In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, onion, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and salt. Mix well to combine. Form the chicken mixture into three equal patties. Don’t work the mixture too much or the burgers will be too dense.

    Heat your griddle to medium-high heat. Add the vegetable oil.

    When the oil is shimmering, add the chicken patties and cook 5 minutes per side, or until the patties reach 165°F.

    Remove the patties from the griddle and allow to rest for five minutes before serving on the toasted buns.
