Sausage Gravy and Biscuits

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage, bulk
  • 0.3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cup whole milk
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.3 tsp black pepper
  • 8 prepared biscuits

Instructions

    Crumble sausage into a large skillet over medium heat. Cook until browned, stirring to break into small pieces.

    Stir in flour until dissolved into the sausage drippings.

    Gradually stir in milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbly, about 5–7 minutes.

    Season generously with salt and pepper.

    Split warm biscuits and spoon sausage gravy over the top. Serve immediately.
