Sausage Casserole

Simple Italian sausage and rice casserole with mushrooms in cream of chicken soup. Everything bakes together for a hearty, no-fuss dinner.

  • 1 lb Italian sausage, removed from casing and crumbled
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 cup raw rice
  • 4 oz canned mushrooms, drained
  • 10 0.8 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 3 cup water (3 soup cans)

Instructions

    Brown sausage and onion; drain.

    Add all other ingredients to sausage mixture; mix well.

    Put into a greased casserole dish. Cover and bake at 325°F for 1 hour.
