Salmon Chowder

- 3 tbsp butter
- 0.8 cup chopped onion
- 0.5 cup chopped celery
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 cup diced potatoes
- 2 piece carrots, diced
- 2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp dried dill weed
- 32 oz canned salmon (two 16 oz cans)
- 12 oz evaporated milk
- 15 oz creamed corn
- 0.5 lb Cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions

Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté onion, celery, and garlic powder until onions are tender.

Stir in potatoes, carrots, broth, salt, pepper, and dill. Bring to a boil, and reduce heat. Cover, and simmer 20 minutes.

Stir in salmon, evaporated milk, corn, and cheese. Cook until heated through.
