Ruby Tuesday Apple Pie
Copycat Ruby Tuesday's warm apple pie — a store-bought deep-dish pie elevated with a cinnamon-spice glaze poured over the top and a walnut-pecan crunch streusel, served warm with ice cream.
Ingredients
- 1 count 9-inch frozen deep-dish apple pie, thawed 30 minutes
- 0.5 cup butter
- 0.5 cup light brown sugar (for glaze)
- 1 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon (for glaze)
- 0.3 tsp ground allspice
- 0.3 tsp ground cloves
- 1 0.5 tsp lemon juice
- 0.8 cup all-purpose flour (for streusel)
- 0.5 cup sugar (for streusel)
- 10 tbsp frozen butter (for streusel)
- 1 0.3 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Let pie thaw at room temperature 30–45 minutes.
- 2
In a small saucepan, melt the stick of butter over medium heat. Add 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1.5 tsp cinnamon, allspice, cloves, and lemon juice. Stir until well blended and sugar is dissolved, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
- 3
Make the streusel: mix flour, sugar, and the remaining cinnamon. Cut in frozen butter until crumbly. Stir in chopped walnuts.
- 4
Pour the glaze over the top of the partially thawed pie. Sprinkle streusel generously over top.
- 5
Bake 40–45 minutes until streusel is golden and pie is heated through. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
