Round Steak Casserole

  • 2 lb round steak, cut 1/2-inch thick, seasoned and cut into pieces
  • 0.5 tsp garlic salt
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.3 tsp black pepper
  • 1 count onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
  • 4 count medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 1 0.5 cup beef broth
  • 15 oz canned green beans, drained
  • 10 0.8 oz can condensed tomato soup
  • 14 0.5 oz can diced tomatoes

Instructions

    Season the round steak pieces lightly with garlic salt, salt, and pepper.

    Place seasoned steak in the slow cooker. Add the sliced onion rings on top.

    Add the quartered potatoes and drained green beans.

    Spoon condensed tomato soup and diced tomatoes over everything.

    Pour in the beef broth. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours.

    Remove cover during the last 30 minutes if there is too much liquid.

    Serve directly from the slow cooker.
